BEFORE YOUR FIRST VISIT
-
Your first visit is a detailed 60–80 minute assessment. We take the time to understand your history, assess the health of your muscles and nerves, and identify whether adhesions or mechanical restrictions are involved. If you have had previous imaging, please bring them in.
You’ll leave with a clear explanation of what we found and a plan that makes sense.
-
Please wear clothing that is stretchy and gives easy access to the area we’ll be treating.
Area: Hips / low back / legs: flexible or stretchy shorts
Shoulders / neck: a singlet or tank top
If you prefer to change here, simply arrive a few minutes early.

TREATMENT APPROACH & EXPECTATIONS
-
Adhesions are bands of stiff, fibrous tissue — think internal “glue” — that form when tissue becomes stressed, compressed, or irritated over time. They can bind muscles, fascia, or even nerves together so they can’t glide freely. Stretching, massage, or strengthening often don’t resolve adhesions because the underlying restriction hasn’t been addressed.
-
If you’ve been dealing with chronic pain, persistent stiffness, nerve symptoms, or movement restrictions — especially after trying multiple providers — you may be a strong fit. We specialise in identifying mechanical problems that are often overlooked, especially nerve entrapments and deep-tissue adhesions.
-
No. Many treatments focus on the surface — like muscles, general soft tissue, or posture — but not all address the exact area where the tissue is stuck. Our approach is slow, detailed, and precise. We diagnose first, then treat the specific tissue causing the problem.
-
If your pain keeps coming back, has lasted longer than 3–6 months, or hasn’t fully responded to massage, physio, chiropractic care, or stretching, it’s likely that deeper restrictions are involved. At your first visit, we’ll assess exactly what’s driving your symptoms and whether our work is the right fit.
-
For one region (e.g., low back, shoulder, hip), many clients need 8–12 sessions to reach maximum improvement. More complex or long-standing conditions may take longer. We reassess regularly and aim for measurable improvement — not endless treatment.
-
Many clients feel early changes within 2–3 sessions — often in movement, range of motion, or nerve glide — but long-term recovery depends on how long the issue has existed, how many structures are involved, and your body’s healing response.
-
You may feel strong sensation as we treat stuck tissues or nerve entrapments, but it should always feel safe and tolerable. Most clients describe it as a “productive pressure” and appreciate the precision of the work.
-
Medication can temporarily reduce symptoms, but it cannot reverse adhesions or restore nerve/tissue glide. If fibrotic tissue is the root cause, hands-on precision treatment is required to change it.
-
Common presentations include:
Chronic low back pain
Sciatic nerve entrapment
Hip & gluteal pain
Neck & shoulder pain
Nerve entrapment symptoms
Restricted mobility
Adhesions from repetitive stress
Post-surgical tension or scarring
Pain that hasn’t resolved with traditional care
If you're unsure, book a consultation and we’ll assess your situation clearly.

FAQs
-
Follow-up sessions are typically 15 minutes of focused, highly specific hands-on work. Adhesion-release treatment relies on accuracy, not long sessions.
-
If supportive exercises will help you heal faster, we’ll prescribe them — but we don’t give generic “one-size-fits-all” plans. Everything is tailored to your condition and goals.
-
No — those treatments can be very helpful for many situations, but when adhesions or nerve entrapment are the root cause, traditional care often falls short. Our focus is on identifying exactly where tissue is stuck and restoring that movement.
-
We focus on measurable change such as:
increased range of motion
improved nerve mobility
reduced tightness or deep ache
less pain during daily activities
increased confidence in your body
Results vary depending on the depth and duration of your condition.
