About Nancy
Nancy is a Remedial Massage Therapist with a deep passion for helping people move out of chronic pain and back into the lives they love. Before she ever stepped into this field, she spent years in the corporate world, long hours at a desk, constant deadlines, and eventually a deep, nagging pain that crept into her neck, shoulders, and lower back. Like many chronic pain sufferers, she went from provider to provider, receiving temporary relief but never real answers. She was repeatedly told to “just stretch more,” “fix her posture,” or “reduce stress,” yet nothing explained why the pain always returned. It was frustrating, isolating, and at times, frightening.
After completing her studies in Remedial Massage, Nancy initially specialised in pre- and post-natal care, believing her own pain was linked to the significant changes her body went through during pregnancy and motherhood. But even then, the pieces didn’t fully align, and she felt pulled to search for deeper, more precise answers.
That search changed the trajectory of her career. Determined to understand the actual mechanics of chronic pain, Nancy immersed herself in advanced training across the United States. She has trained with some of the most respected practitioners in the field, including
Dr. Matt and Dr. Brandon at Precision Health Group
Today, she is one of only two providers in Australia with this specialised skill set and the first to introduce this level of adhesion-release work to Melbourne.
Nancy’s core belief is simple: pain is rarely random; it always has a story. She believes people deserve answers, not guesswork, and that real, lasting change only happens when the cause, not just the symptoms, is identified and treated. Adhesion-release work targets the underlying mechanical restrictions that stretching, massage, and strengthening often miss, which is why it creates such profound results for people who have felt stuck for years.
This philosophy shapes the way Nancy treats. Her sessions are slow, detailed, and intentional. She explains every step, offers complete honesty about what she finds (and what she doesn’t), and tracks measurable changes. Many people comment on how seen, heard, and understood they feel in sessions and how helpful it is to have their pain explained in a way that finally makes sense.
Nancy is also a strong believer in team-based care. If required, she collaborates closely with other practitioners when it supports a patient’s long-term health, including GPs, psychologists, functional medicine practitioners, pelvic floor specialists, personal trainers, orthopaedic specialists, rheumatologists, and others involved in a person’s care. She sees herself as one part of a broader health team, and she believes that when practitioners work together and look at the full picture, patients recover faster and more sustainably.
What drives Nancy most is the transformation she witnesses in chronic pain patients. There is nothing quite like the moment someone realises they can finally move in a way they haven’t been able to for years, the expression on their face, the energy in their voice, the relief in their posture. These moments are what fuel her work.
Adhesion Pain Solutions Melbourne was created from this passion and purpose. Nancy’s vision is to build a clinic where chronic pain patients feel genuinely seen, heard, and cared for, and to bring world-class adhesion-release therapy to Melbourne so people can finally access the answers and relief they deserve.
